Frequently asked questions
Is it really free? What's the catch?
The full app is free for individual, local use. We charge for what actually costs money: servers to sync, share with your family and keep backups. The product logic runs on your device — the server only adds collaboration and backup.
What happens to my data if you shut down or I close my account?
Nothing: the primary copy of your data lives on your devices, not on our servers. You can also export everything to a file at any time.
Is there an iPhone app?
Not yet. Today: Android (APK) and any modern browser. iOS is on the roadmap.
How are Wi-Fi passwords shared?
Encrypted on the server and shown only when someone asks (“tap to reveal”). People in your home can see them; nobody else.
